Why does mould grow?

Understanding the causes of mould growth on render will teach you how to prevent mould growth from occurring in the first place. How to remove swathes of red, green, black mould growth as well as how to maintain mould free exterior surfaces.

Because Awaabs law will force social landlords to eradicate mould within strict new time limits you need to understand what actions to take.

Many housing associations and local councils do not have the skills or equipment to deal with exterior mould removal.

Because they have little or no understanding the causes of mould growth on render, many of them do not understand what to do.

Annual maintenance is key to preventing mould growth, this should be low cost with high impact on protecting properties from sick building syndrome.

Spraying on a safe Soft Wash solution which is made up of water, sodium hypochlorite and Green Wash which contains anti microbials, will kill off mould spores. Some people call this an anti-fungal wash.
