What is the Best Way to Clean Render?

There is NO better method to ensure your render stays clean up to four to six times longer.

When considering what is the best way to clean your render, you should also ask yourself, what do I need to clean from the render?

Is it a man-made pollution such as graffiti or traffic atmospheric fallout, or is it organic infestation? Such as moss, algae, mould, lichens or mildew.

Once you know what you want cleaning from the renders surface you then need to know more about the render itself. Most renders are very delicate when it comes to cleaning them.

Render will go back to its original colour in most cases but strong coloured renders may have also suffered from UV damage and will looked washed out. Dark reds, purple and blues seem to suffer most, and the process cannot be reversed, because the render has become a victim of the sun. The soft wash process cannot cause damage to render but can uncover damage from before.

What else may be required, a ladder, an access tower or a MEWP to reach high level areas. Health & Safety should be considered at all times.
