First of all, we believe in transparent pricing for our exterior building cleaning services.
Buildings are Individual, unique even when they look similar to the casual observer.
Determining what access will be required all the way around the building can have a huge impact on cost. Therefore a good building surveyor will inspect all elevations of the building which require cleaning.
One of the most expensive methods to access high level surfaces which require cleaning would be scaffolding, unless it is already in place for other tradesmen to use.
Safe and cost effective access is often carried out by MEWP (mechanical elevated work platform)
Other common methods of access are abseiling, use of a fixed or temporary cradle and long high reach pole.
Once access has been considered there are two other things a building cleaning surveyor needs to consider.
- Type of substrate which requires cleaning
- Type of contaminant which requires removing or cleaning

Other Variables to Cost into Your Exterior Building Cleaning Project
Height, how many floors is the building, the higher it goes the more expense will be incurred to reach the substrate which requires cleaning safely. This will be written into a fixed price quotation which is usually valid for thirty days.
Stains
Rust on different substrates can be hard to remove entirely. Using a product such as Randy’s Rust Off will certainly make a huge difference and will lighten it for sure. However sometimes you will see evidence of the rust stain when completed.
