Micheldever were in need of a quick response at this closed down tyre retail outlet in Gloucester

Used Oil tank had leaked oil all over the floor and left for some time making the floor extremely difficult to clean.

Many attempts were made by other cleaning companies but had failed because they did not really have the correct floor cleaning tools to carry out the works to a high standard which was needed.

When any building is vacated by the company who was renting it, the building must be handed back in a suitable condition to avoid costly dilapidation orders being served upon the company after vacating the premises.

Floor Cleaning – Industrial Unit – Tyre Fitting Bays

The unit was due to be handed back to the owner after a lease had expired.

To garage floor was extremely dirty and the oils and grease needed cleaning up.

Litter was in need of bagging up and disposing of, a skip was used to remove all waste legally.

Solution

Steam at Low Pressure was used by Purple Rhino to clean the floor

Using specialist oil emulsifiers and degreasers combined with the use of a DOFF steam cleaner our floor cleaning team carefully cleaned up the floor and made it look like new.

The DOFF was turned up to 150 degrees C which helped “melt” the grease enabling the team to use a wet pickup vacuum to remove the contaminant from the floor

Pure steam soon had the floor looking clean and free from gease/oil.

The floor was left with a nice red paint finish being evident after years of neglect.
